There may be some hope for you-- there is a Rx pill called Singulaire (which helps reduce cytokines/ leukotrienes, basically an anti-inflammatory for your respiratory system)
Also, good antihistamines combat post-nasal drip, and Mucinex/ (guaifenisen) thins out mucous, making it easier to expel. And Zantac works immediately for nausea, doesn't need to be taken daily, like PPI drugs.
It is obvious asthma is caused by the same inflammatory issues as IBD's, and this is seen by how quickly prednisone improves an asthma crisis.... your health does depend on getting the asthma in check, because uncontrolled, it can cause enlarged heart, lung scarring, and even worse... good luck, and good health to you
