Nasocort nasal spray

Nasocort has recently been released for OTC purchase. Just a warning to those who haven't used it before: it isn't taken just the same as any other OTC. Please be sure to read the directions before using it. Also, because it is a steroid medication, be sure your doctor knows you are using it and be sure to follow the dosage guidelines faithfully.

It can be a great help for nasal allergies, but it can also be harmful if not used as directed.

Because it is such a small dosage, severe side effects are unlikely, but do read the information that came with it or talk to your pharmacist, who can probably give you an information sheet on it.
