Poor kid, also poor momma! So much to deal with.
I have not had this experience with my own kids, don't have asthma myself, not a doctor anyway.
I did, before surgery, have reflux though. Have had her to a gastroenterologist? It might help to rule out a second problem and only have to deal with one.
Although it's getting better, food testing is still not highly accurate and doesn't include all foods, preservatives .... I had to figure out my own sulfite allergy myself. My allergist helped by having me keep a very complete daily "food journal" in which I listed everything I ate or drank, all meds, symptoms and times. Then I had to do "challenge testing" to find which ingredients in a suspect meal was the culprit. Use the search box at the top of the page. I'm going to be doing challenge for wheat in a couple of weeks. I nearly eliminated my reflux by finding my trigger.
If I were the mother I would be keeping very good records and plaguing the doctors. It's a lot of hard work, but nobody is going to do it for us.
Best wishes and keep in touch!
