Brown stains on forehead and neck

Hello everyone. I do not know if this is the right section so sorry if it's not, but I have a question.

My dad, from time to time, has some brown stains on his forehead and on his neck. Any idea what they might be from?

We're not doctors, but hopefully someone will come along with some advice better than mine.

There are myriad causes of brown spots on skin. If you Google the words you'll come up with pictures of different types and all sorts of things that could make them.

If you are worried, I'd suggest trying to get him to a dermatologist.
