about ten days ago I was stung in three places (foot, knee and behind the knee) by a jellyfish. I was treated with vinegar and ice. The initial blister like symptoms subsided and turned into a red, pimply rash. As I have a mild case of Psoriasis, I was not sure if the jellyfish trauma had provoked Psoriasis or if the rash was only due to the jellyfish. Until today I had thought the rash was improving however it actually seems worse and, for the first time, today I felt some itching and muscular discomfort. I'll make an appointment with a dermatologist however I am interested in knowing if others have had experiences with jellyfish and if so, is the red pimply rash normal and how long does it last? When it first started I used a mild cortisone for a couple days, then discontinued using it. Today I returned to the cortisone. Thanks.
