Xolair reaction

Have been on Xolair since last fall with excellent success. We were out of town in an area with high mold content. Since Xolair does not help with mold allergies, I started having asthma. Started a course of prednisone and of course was getting better. after 6 days on Prednisone I had my Xolair injection (Doc said it would be fine). Two days after Xolair injection my asthma got significantly worse, and am back up to 40 mg of prednisone. Has anyone taking Xolair had a similar situation. Replies greatly appreciated .

For my allergic asthma: Been on xolair for over 2 years, alongside allergy shots to desensitize to dust, pollens, and mold. Neither xolair nor shots seems to help much for the mold allergies, according to allergist and pulmonologist. Nonetheless I keep taking them & experiment with different mixes of other meds, also taking daily an antihistamine, singular, and inhalers. Have also changed dosing & frequency of xolair injections - did once every two weeks, then once a month, now back to every 2 wks. I think there are just going to be exacerbations (for me due to environmental triggers), and I just need to deal with them. Next step is to add prednisone if I really can't get it managed by these other drugs.
