Asthma flairing

Husband picked up my Xopenex nebulizer vials and I hope to be breathing better soon, needed the vent. If this had been a bad flair I probably would've been in the ER.. Came close to going to the ER, but the costs is too much for 1 nebulizer treatment and 1 x-ray, plus probably a 10 hour wait...that's what happened to me last time was a 10+ hour wait in the ER for a nebulizer treatment, they had the x-ray results in 2 hours and said I had hyperinflated lungs and from there the long wait for a nebulier treatment, so I don't go to ER's,....anyways got my meds...

Thank you, the pred did help get me thru the weekend and since I have so many autoimmune, I have plenty of that at home.

.My Doctor sent the prescription directly to the pharmacy, if I 'd had the script I would've taken it somewhere else. I don't think many doctor's hands out prescriptions much anymore because under the new rules everything has to be computerized. This has made it harder for me.

This may not work in your case; insurance companies are so complicated, and state laws vary. But when my pharmacy didn't have the prednisone (my doctor had sent in the prescription by computer), I was able to go to another pharmacy (from Kroger to Sam's club) and have Sam's club pharmacy call the Kroger pharmacy to get the prescription transferred. I think I may have had to give the Kroger pharmacy permission first. But anyway, I was able to get the two pharmacies to transfer the digital prescription between them.

It may not work in your case, but hopefully you won't ever run into that situation again. It's so frustrating. And I definitely agree, common asthma meds like prednisone and Xopenex should be readily available, especially this time of year. I've been on a lot of asthma meds this summer, and it seems like I've had difficulty getting several of them.

So sorry you had a tough time. One of the pharmacists here was rude to me and I changed to another pharmacist.

This new pharmacist was good but this one guy was writing down something and asking questions about why I was taking this and that medicine. Naturally he was not a regular American, from one of the islands. Also a clerk was nasty. Bunch of creeps, lucky they have a job, imho.

All these people think they are movie stars! Maybe it is the cameras in all these places. Have to laugh about the whole thing some times.

Just got a call from the dental office. They told me 11:15 but the machine just told me 10:15 and so it goes. NOTHING BUT A MESS.
