Reaction to Claritin

Has anyone taken Loratadine ( Claritin) and had your heart rate go up and your blood pressure go down? I have seasonal allergies and my doctor wanted me to take the Loratadine so I took one today and WHAM! Things did not go well. I have a message going to her, but thought I'd ask the "users" about what you all think.

Do you have any sensitivity to artificial flavors or sweeteners? There are some listed in the "professional" section under "inactive ingredients" of the drugs.com pages on this drug. I get heart reactions to these things.

This is normally a pretty good drug, but if you are sensitive to it you need to watch for this ingredient in other name brand antihistamines.
