Eyelid skin flaking, peeling off

New here, I am on some other forums of HW though. Like it says my eyelids are peeling. Last fall I had gunk in my eyes from seasonal alergies for the first time ever, I was born in the 60's, so I dont know why this started now.

So this late September my eyes got puffy, no gunk, but the lids started to peel. Slight itch if I dont keep coconut oil on them- any other lotion stings from the alcohol in them. Im in Great Lakes USA area, so leaves have fallen now, less weeds, but lids are still not healed. Not puffy now, but keep peeling.

Anyone have this happen?

I've never had a algergy test. It was suggested I get the kind where they prick you back with a lot of alergens like 60, and watch reaction. ? had this done anyone?

I went through this for over a year until the doctor found the correct combo that worked for me. My eyelids would swell so much the eyes would barely open. I was given Patanol eye drops [prescription med] and a steroid ointment for the lids. Once they stopped swelling and I used the ointment, the peeling stopped.

I previously had allergy skin testing. It was discovered I was allergic to dogs, Bermuda grass, mold, dust mites, and cockroaches. I was 61 at the time.
