Over use effects

My father has breathing problem. He is at the age of 70 and smokes frequently. Doctor had prescribed Tioform inhaler which was working fine for him but after few days he changed to some other medicines. New medicine is not giving much relief. Is it fine to use Tioform inhaler for long run?

Hi Subas, I happened to see your post about your dad. Does your dad have asthma or COPD? Before Tioform what medication did he use? Also what are the meds he was changed to? Sorry for all of the questions just trying to get a better idea of things.

Do you go with your dad to the dr? The question about continuing to use it should be addressed to the prescribing dr. There must be a reason for the change & only his dr can answer that question. I tried looking at Drugs.com about Tioform & could not find it. I use inhalers & am familiar with some brands.
