This is my first post. I'm beyond frustrated. I just want to be able to breath.
Doctors haven't been much help but continously doing blood work, EKG's, x-rays and steroids.
Little history, I have a severe crustacean and mullusk allergy since about 14 years old. I have a lavendar allergy which only developed after having my son.
about 2 months ago I used polysporin drops for pink eye as a precaution as my son got it. Boom! My eyes were a swollen itchy mess for 4 days and my nose was completely stuffed.
Then anout a month later I got my eyelashes done, extensions with glue the whole deal, within a day my nose was stuffed. The sneezing and stuffiness lasted about a week and suddenly disappeared. So I chalked it up to seasonal allergies.
A couple of weeks ago I got them redone. Within a few hours, the same thing except this time it was worse. I couldn't sleep and no amount of antihistamines was working so I decided to take them off. Just as I did that my asthma kicked in.
Ever since then I have been struggling with my asthma, day in and day out. My lung function is great as per the doctors, no wheeze but the tightness in my throat and chest is sometimes unbearable. It comes and goes. My rescue inhalers works somewhat.
I seem to be worse at home. In my living room especially. So I had my husband wash the curtains and vacuum the couch. Sounds crazy I know. I purchased an air purifier in hopes that it would help.
I can't seem to eat or drink hardly anything as many things seem to aggravate it, coffee, juice, dairy, even brushing my teeth.
I keep going through in my head. Is it dairy bugging me now? Coffee? Sulfites?
I'm at a Lost and it won't be until at least February until the specialist is able to get me in.
I'm just so frustrated.
