Asthma Question

I was diagnosed with adult onset asthma by my regular doctor-about a year ago. I would like to see someone that deals specifically wih asthma and the internet gives me several answers. For those on here with Asthma what would you recommend? Allergist? Pulmonary? Respiratory therapist? I am currently on symbicort (twice a day) and albuterol-both via inhaler. Thank you in advance-I'm 60 and female

Hi Greentara, I suggest that you seek treatment with a pulmonologist for treatment. They are the experts in this area. You can do an internet search for the top 10 pulmonologist in your area & see who takes your insurance, then ask your GP to make a referral.
