I’m new to this site and was wondering if anybody who suffers with asthma gets a burning in their lungs when they breath in and also makes you cough a lot .
For the last three years of my asthma I have began to get more breathing problems with more things exposed to. Bleach , lots of household cleaning sprays and perfume .
I take Fostair for my asthma which has been prescribed about 4-5 months as it contains a bronchial dilator also , previously was taking Clenil inhaler .
Saw doctor recently who give me a dose of Prednisolone 40 mgs for a week a new drug called Montelukast 10 mgs as my asthma got worst after being exposed to perfume in restaurant . I had to double up on my Fostair
.Had terrible effects of the drugs after a week , of flushing , inability to sleep , bad dreams feeling jittery . I had the finished the week coarse of Prednisolone , so another doctor told me to stop Montelukast also , until I felt better , and then re introduce it . He thought that the Prednisalone had caused these effects .
Just wondering if anybody takes Montelukast and does it help allergy’s ?
LHas recently I went to a restaurant and after 5 minutes inside had to leave because of breathing problems and to take Ventolin as there was lots perfume every where .
Also does anybody get this awful burn on inspiration with cough ? mine has been there for nearly a month .
