I have adult onset severe asthma, which I have had since 2001. I am 56 years old. I was also diagnosed with epilepsy last summer. One thing in your post that jumps out at me is about your ears ringing and the anxiety level. Not long after I started having the seizures, I was also diagnosed with tinnitus, not related to the seizures. The ringing in my ears does cause frustration which causes anxiety. When my ears are ringing while I am trying to concentrate on something while there is something else going on in the room, which could be music, people talking, etc., ths makes me want to scream. I see an allergist for my asthma. From what I read, most asthma patients do better who see an allergist. You would see an ENT for tinnitus. I hope I haven't confused you more.
