Where Is Everyone Lately?????

Well, I havent posted in a while but had been in the

chat rooom late at night. For some reason I hadnt been getting notices about post either.   Well, spring is here and I am so very thankful. Winter was long only because of the deaths this past year. Dad in October, Sis in Januarry, daughters marriage endered in Febuarry and Hubby's Alz just seems to be trucking right along as well as his Diebetes. Then there was the diagnoses in March that my problem is Rhumitoid Arthritis. You see this is why I havent been here to much depressing junk. Who wants to hear all this when one has so much on the own plates.

Not many come in here to voice problems or really need much help here of late.I'm doing ok,Larry isn't though.His job will require him to stand most of an 8 hour shift & his back is yelling quite loudly NO!
Maybe they will have a set down job somewhere,like servailiance watching monitors all day or whatever shift he can get...........

Hi Lyn and others, I know you are wondering where I got to. Well I am ver busy writing my second book and I can tell you it's very hard work, and time is short. I have completed the first two chapters and they are twice my first book. So you can see this book will run into at least three or four times ths size of the first. So many people have asked to know what happened next? and wanted to read more. It will take me some time to get to the story of how I managed the Alzheimer's years. The first eight or so years were not unlike the experiences others go through. The important years as far as I'm concerned are the one in the NH and my reaction to that, then the almost five years caring for Jean alone. Those five years during which I was told so often that she would die and yet she managed to start eating and drinking and move from under six stone to over eight. I am one very lucky man to have been able to care for my wife up to her death rejecting all help. I truly did it my way. It has taken me some time to understand why no one here wants to know. I've been referred to as a 'one off' that kept pushing the boundries. We are all one offs and I have never lived with in accepted boundries, rather I have always been and outside the boundries looking in. That is why I could not just write about what I learned about Alzheimer's. It is important to understand what drives me. I hope and pray that my finished work will help others. It's a good thing that I have DVDs, Photos and medical records with comments by 'experts' stating she was dying years before she did. Nowadays I sleep in till 05.20AM and am still out on my daily run. I have been bless and rewarded by having the experience of loving and caring for the lady who was my redemption. She showed the meaning of love over 54 years, 52 married. If I can be of help that will be good, I'm no medical man just a lone stray who learned to survive alone in the world till I met my Jean.
