My Dad ...........

Dad is still having SOME lucid times and just yesterday he let into me like I was 2 yrs old lol
I had asked and suggessted he move in with me
WELLLLLLLLLLLLllllllllllllllll
He said now I dont know how smart you think you are and what you can do for me that I cannot do for self but I am 70 + ys old and I can sure as Hades look after SELF.........a few expletives in there as well
I had to come home and then I sat in chair and LMBO
That is the Dad I know and miss so much lol
It was a good day all in all and I will be taking him to market I am sure he will be different today
Never a dull moment and ya dont know from one to the next "who" is coming out of him

Was a longggggggggg day at market something else is going on with dad IMO and I want him checked out by my doc: his is an 82 yr old that still practices and out of his house .........smart but not the doc dad needs

My grandmother suffered from Alzheimer's disease and passed away a couple years ago.

To me.. she was my grandmother... and yet she wasn't... she wasn't quite there anymore... and wasn't there at all towards the end.

Took Dad to Santa Parade last night he was quiet and was alert brought back too many memeories I think
I went straight back to bed have been ill with Crohns last couple of days

Back from market had yto have Howie come get me very ill and sick to tummy while there could not keep dad close to me wandering all over
next week maybe will be better

Went too doc am really needing fluids and to eat properly
Nerves dont allow for that

Thanks Hun am trying but as you kow this time of yr is not great on nerves and being the first one w/o Mom is going to be and is already affecting me greatly
I feel no Christmas Spirit at most times

Some new meds for Dad but I fear he has given up he only wants to now be with Mom
I am her to him most days it seems and then wham outta the blue I am me again
I love him so much and he does fil my heart
Crohns went into flare

But am trooping along anyways

I am waiting to watch " It's a Wonderful Life " very soon with Dad it was a Christams tradition and Moses

dad is spending Boxing day with us here
going to sisters for Christmas
him......not us lol
