I have to get things out ya know

** lately unless I take him somewhere he stays in den in pj's all day well I thought he was fine last night sister was down thought she was staying ( no communication ) and anyways I got a call at 12:30 am that dad was wondering down the streets in pjs and housecoat in minus 16 celcius with windchill...........I blew a gasket went and got him said he was going for the mail.......I told him to wait a bit lol,,,
Anways brought him here and he slept on the second couch
Seems once he a was here he quieted down and fell into a good slee
This has really fast forwarded me into making him come here I cannot deal with him wandering what if he had gotten hit or lost .......I have told him most of morning but he is turning deaf ear to me wants to stay in the big 5 bdrm house in the den I think to be close to MOM

** I cannot live there too many memories **
Is here now for roast beef supper and hopefully he will decide to stay if not I think I will call sis and tell her its her turn as I have not been well and having really bad relationship problems at home.....
A solution HAS to be found right soon or problems are coming and I will have to deal with all of it I am not co about dad ...............am the family he has another son and DIL here as well as my son and his wife ........
SOMEONE else has to take up some of the responsibilty IMO

WELL spent the night at hospital with dad have to go back very soon hardly sleepy anyways
I kinda thought he had pneumonia but I decided to take him to ER last night admitted within the first couple of hours ....stayed with him as he was agittated( sp) and finally they put him out so he could rest and get meds into him to try and combat this but my hopes are not high at all
He has no will to live and I have seen ppl die from a broken heart many times he justs wants to be with mom

He is responding to the antibiotics so hopefully he will recover quickly ........There is a horrid flu like virus going around and hitting everyone
Cait and I were sick with it for almost 2 weeks
I hope to Hades he doesnt get that

Dad is doing better bothering nurse and calling them sexy sweet things
I was so red in the face but it was kinda cute lol
He thinks he is at a motel and wants me there 24/7 cannot do as I have Cait but I am spending as much time as possible most of the day and go back at night it is only a 10 minute drive

Ya hun that is going around thats the one I meant a few of our seniors 3 of them have died in last 2 weeks from town
So sad........and they had flu shots

Dad is doing somewhat better not totally but I sure hope this gets done I am so exhausted lol
Have Cait giving me Political lessons and having to juggle home and hospital is a bit hard when I am kinda in a bad head space right now ........Thanks for everyones thoughts

Sorry your Dad has been ill. I'm glad he is on the road to recovery.

Big hugs for your sis! I hope you are taking care of yourself. Oy vey! We'll all have to come over and tie you down so you'll rest.

I hope you have been faring well. I've been very well and have made some more "needle felted" items to sell on Ebay. I sell under user name AlwaysRosie06 if you want to see my new ideas. Or you could search "needle felted lion" and from there you can "view sellers other items". I'm really enjoying this.

I think about you lots. I'm looking forward to spending time with you on the other side sis!! Not that I'm in a hurry . . . just a nice thought.

I just read this whole thread and it is so moving. Gosh.

Your relationship with your Dad is so lovely. I never had that with mine.

You do so much it just amazes me.

I was sad to read about the three people dying from the flu. I take alot of vitamin C and from what I've read that really helps. I read a thing about how vitamin C would be effective even against something like an anthrax attack. I know, that sounds crazy. But before I had the major antibiotics for the tetanus I was taking vitamin C, only not very much because I didn't quite understand at that point. I was taking it because I read a Bangladesh study about tetanus and how the people who had vitamin C survived. They have a lot of it over there -- tetanus.

I wonder, if your Dad gets better in hospital, do you think it would be because of the antibiotics?

And if so, do you think that maybe if he had some extra B12 it would help... this is hard to explain why I think they go together... I just wrote a thing about that... because you were sort of asking for more posts. (I hardly go to any forums any more.)

Did they give your dad a B12 test in hospital?

Yep I have had Dad thru the ringer on all tests believe me after mom dying and not having all the answers I will not ever go thru it again
I am trying and I do love him so he came into my life at a young age and has been my DAD since ......
Never had hurt me nor browbeaten me always there to lend support and caring now it is my turn to do for him and I do it not out of Need but out of love BIG time love .
Sorry you never had that tis a beautiful thing has such a hold on my heart he does

I am at hospital lately more than at home slept right in today so I went o the hospital in pj's lol

I needed that and I could not get up this am either have no clue whats going on well a bit Moms passing anni is just a few days away and struggling with that and Cait leaving me for a month for the page program in Parliament ( so proud) but will certaily miss her

Yes I am very proud and poor Cait was crying again saying she wished Nana was here as she would be so proud as she followed the parliament in her good days and was heavy into Labor Laws surrounding Nursing Homes and Public Service Workers
I had to tell Howie his school chum and friend of 20 yrs was found dead in his bed 38 yrs old with 2 small kids............................ so he will be here for the viewing and services I so dont like March
Howie is very broken up by this and I see the way he is hurting .....so sad all of it .......
Rick on ST paddy's day and mom 3 days later.....
All it is is all bad memories for me I cannot wait for April......

Just got back not long ago from hospital and they are keeping dad over the weekend so another few days of rushing about
Well I dont mind at least he seems alot better
