WIERD EYE TWITCHING! HOW DO I STOP IT????

scool  ood Evening good people.I hope all is well this evening! I'm doing OK,still trying to get over this crud i got.I think i'm finally starting to feel better though.Anyway i have a question.As you all know i started celexa 20mg a little over 2 weeks ago and so far it seems to be working well.Alot of my P/A has subsided and i really havent experienced many side effects,none really.But i've been having this feeling in my left eye,it seems to twitch alot lately.I've had this to happen before a long time ago but it stopped! It has been doin it now for about 2 weeks which makes me wonder if it's my medicine.Has anyone else had this weird twitching? It's really embarrassing because it happens alot when i talk to people.I dont want people to think i'm some kind of wierdo! lol! I hope i'm not the only one because then i would feel really wierd! But it's actually started to become aggravating.Is there something wrong with me and how do i make it stop? nono eyes scool

I have the same problem. Hmm... I guess we are weirdos.... lol just kidding! Well, I guess we could be to those who see us walking around with our eyes twitching! lol It happens in my left eye. It usually only happens when I am sleepy, really stress, nervous, anxious, worried, those kinds of things, but those dont seem to be your problem so... hmm...

I have random muscle spasms though all the time in my shoulders, arms, legs, whatever... Its a very weird thing. Those usually only happen for maybe 20 seconds... Its really weird to put my hand over it and feel it like spazzing out! lol But yea... It would be horrible to experience it for 2 weeks so I hope it goes away!! Take Care!

OH thanks BabyT,she will learn in time that i'm weird! lol! But i really am.See'like right now my eye is twiching,i think it's your fault Baby,i notice it happens more when i'm talking to you.(joking) But it really is doin it now.Maybe i need to walk around with a patch over my eye like a pirate!! GRRRRR! That's funny i've never felt it anywhere else. So Tennis does it like move from body part to body part or something?That would be just great! It's doing it again! This is plain old wierd! I'm starting to wonder if it really is you Baby! lol Really i may go to the DR.What do you guys think??

Lack of sleep can caus such twitches Panike.Sleep more and hope for the best .Its possible due to stress or worry it can happen too.

lol I like the eye patch thing best! Nah, it doesnt move... I can just be sitting and it randomly happen in a small spot like on my arm or something. But, it doesnt stay it goes away. I notice it when it happens. It usually doesnt happen everyday, I dont guess, I dont make a huge deal out of it. But, it has stayed before for a few minutes and its crazy strange!! haha Im not sure if it were moving that would be great... I would be freaked out that something was under my skin moving or something! Ok...wow... I dont even want to go there...

.....I totally watch to many cartoons.... just kidding, I dont watch any, but i have read about those kinds of things happening to people and its so gross! eek!!! I think you should go to the doctor. Or at least call and ask about it. If it bothers you why not! Besides, you dont want to be a weirdo the rest of your life do ya!? lol (kidding of course!)

Hey kidlets,
I would assume this is nothing to stress out over; these "twitches" are called fasciculations and happen to everyone. I get these "episodes" at least once a month in my eyelids alone. You might try a cold pack over your eye for 10 minutes or so; this would probably eliminate the feelings. Don't worry too much about 'em!

I get them rarely but Sarita is right, I would not stress out over the twitches.

Thank you Kitt,Katey,And Sarita for putting my mind at ease because this was really starting to bother me! Even my husband noticed it today. It hasnt done it as much today but it has done it a few times,Thank you so much Sarita for actually giving me a name for it! I was thinking about going to the DR but maybe i will try the ice patch first.Katey i hate you missed the chat too,yeah i did get sick but by getting sick i was able to help Tennis so it was ok.I just got a little overwhelmed there for a minute.I took a xanax and went to bed.I actually slept good! If i go to the chat room tonite i'll let you know.

Yep, you helped me so much Panike! Thank you so much! I was overwhelmed much of the time. I was freaking out. As you said things, I just teared up! Then, I burst out into tears. I was freaking out... my anxiety was raging. I couldnt sleep for some time either, but you helped me so much so... Thanks!! Sorry you had to get sick just to help me... sorry...
