Can I vent ?

   geezzz don't even know where to start .........ok first off I was reading HW months before I got enough courage to join . Then it took me along time before I posted , don't post much because I am really shy and afraid that I would ask a question and nobody would answer . Well everyone here is so great !!! Had some chances to go to the chat room and really enjoyed it . Was really surprised at all the young ppl in there that are suffering from anxiety , panic attacks , depression. My heart just breaks for them . And to find out their parents do not understand , they are crying out for help , they don't even have parents to understand , just want to take them in my arms and tell them I am here for you .

OK here is where I blew it . After getting off HW I went to my old forum , been on it for over a year , never posted much , was mostly ignored . ( should have listened to myself when I told myself to turn off computer and go to bed ) but nooooo I had to just check in . I know we don't have all the answers to everyone , but I also know that the Mods. here answer what they can ( always here for everyone ) when they can't help their is always a hand offered . They will pick you up , or give you resources where you can get your answers .

ok I am rambling , Wellll kinda had a wild hair , and posted a message to the Mods , asking if anyone of them suffered from anxiety or panic , depresion . Went on to say anytime I see a Mod. in this room is because someone said something wrong or the had to edit the post due to "chat room talk ect ) Well to say the least they were very offended .

Now I have been suspended from the forum : reason : dont like rules !!

I am only telling you this because I tell you all more than I tell anyone else in this world , yes I got my feelings hurt , and I feel really bad . But I wouldn't even say "boo ' to a ghost .

thanks for listening to my rants , hope you all don't think badly of me . I guess I just  asked the wrong question . I love the Mods here , I know you are giving up your time and not getting paid to be here , you all do it because you are very caring and going through all this yourselfs and the members here are also so special . You have all helped me more then you will ever know !!

(((((((((((HUGS))))))))))) and you go girl. I am so happy you found us and I too have been banned from a site and I was the lead moderator on a large site.  They just locked me out and would not tell me why or what I had done other than to quote some broad  rules.  Members that posted in the forum wanting to no where I was were reprimanded and some even banned for daring to ask.

A post was placed on the site that my name was not to be mentioned.  I was crushed..............so sweetie I been there and know how you feel.

I talked it through with my therapist and she felt it was very close to abusive behavior and hostile toward someone that had joined the site for help and came away harmed by the site.

There were others and we got together and negoiated  with the Administration of the site until rules were changed to prevent other members being harmed as we were. We felt we had at least made an impact with our communication with the Administrator. Also some positions at the top were reprimanded and are no longer with the forum due to their unprofessional behavior toward the banned members. 

HealingWell is run completely different.  The moderators are members just like everyone else.  We have problems and we are allowed to ask for help to.  I find everyone here helpful and friendly. 

Venting is allowed and hugs are in abundance.  Please remember you are family here and as Yana said so well, Home is where the heart is and my heart is with HealingWell and all of you.

Megie my dear, you are sweet and allowed to vent any time you wish!  We all need to do that from time to time - I've done it several times and it's great because here at HW we get some wonderful feedback and feel better afterwards.   Shame on the other site for banning you!!  Asking a simple question shouldn't be a reason to ban.  Having said that, I'm glad you're here with us!!!!!   Take care, Wen

Thank you all for your kind responses . I feel much better . That experience almost put me in a full blown anxiety attack . I love this site so much I will never venture out again . This is my safe place . I can "talk " to you all and tell things I don't tell anyone else . Because I don't know anyone with my problem . They don't understand .

I personally have never been on any other site but I really do love this one! I feel the same as you do, very comfortable here and willing to say anything. Everyone here is so understanding. I just stumbled on this site in the middle of the night. So glad I did. Don't worry, we are all here for you when you need us!
