Dropped foot?? Help, please!

Please help---my husband just had a weird experience. His foot involuntarily twisted to the right and felt dislocated, twisted and a little dumb. Does anyone know what this is??

He was given prendisone for inflamation. Has been acting over stimulated, was having panic attacks for a year then it stopped and now seems to have fibro.

He was angry and when getting up this happened. Anyone know what this could be???

dropfoot is something that can happen due to nerve damage. i work for neurologists. If the pred helps thats good but i would ask your dr if maybe he should see a neurologist or have an EMG

Thanks for posting, he was given the pred. for body pain. This twisting of the foot came this afternoon, from we don't know what. He seems ok right now, but ok course was scarred to see his entire for distort. I mentioned drop foot, only because I heard of it and was wondering if that's what is was. Thanks again. I know I can always come to this forum for help, it's the best. Bless you.

I really don't know about this one to be honest. I think it would be best if he sought professional advice. It does not sound like a pleasant experience. I hope things work out for him and this gets resolved quickly. Let us know how you both go k?

And that hubby's foot did get better

Has he talked to a doc about what it may have been causing this ?
