 My passion is flowers and crocheting

I am also an avid FIGHTER for our Seniors and Advocate for them

I love to see my daughter happy and

Be on HW as much as possible trying to help out those I can

THIS does help with my Anxiety and panic

So does talking to certain sis' on a day to day basis ............

I care for all of you and yes I worry bout ya all too yeah

What is your passion and does it help with your a/p

My Passion..................

My family, being with them always helps bring my anxiety down, playing games with my 4 year old granddaughter, taking the teens shopping at Mall of America, doing lunch and sharing a dessert, gfighting over who gets the last bite.

Talking with my dear friend and Big Sis and doing my stand up comedian routine.................always in fun.  Plannning a trip to another country not far away.............whooo hooo.

Helping others and being a caregiver is my passion and my life,  I start with my family and dear friends and spread out to all from there. If I am needed my A & P is decreased.

Travel, I love to travel and it has given me many times something to look forward to and get past my low points.

My Dog, who tolerates me is on of my  my passions, and when I can get her to smile for me..............oh maybe she is baring her teeth    well I like to believe she is smiling. :-)

Reading..........I love to read, and I love to fly in airplanes just to be sure you understand my brromis in the shop for repair.

My humor is my passion too,  if I can make someone smile then they may not feel so sad.

My first passion is my husband, daughter and my dog.  They are my favorite people in the world and can turn the worst day around.  I love spending time with all of them and it doesn't really matter what we are doing as long as we are together.

Another passion I have is my yard, though some would call is more of an obsession.  I like it to be mowed perfectly and I spend about 16 hours a day watering when we don't get any rain.  It just makes me happy.

I also love to paint, I've taught myself to do one stroke painting and have just started painting cement figures for outside,  I did a beautiful birdbath and am now painting a welcome piece for the front of the house.  When I'm painting I'm just taken away from all the stress of life and can relax and just enjoy.

When I get anxious, anything that keeps my mind occupied really helps.  I'll read, play a game on the wii, paint, weed the gardens, write, etc.  If none of that works, I'll usually climb into bed with my dog, Buster and just cuddle.

My greatest joy/passion is my family, Mom, Dad, twin sister, younger sister and brother and brothers-in-law and sister-in-law and all the wonderful nieces and nephews my sisters and brother have given me.

Secondly would be music (from Ann Murray to Queen to Meatloaf to John Williamson). 

Working with special needs children is another.

I'm trying to get into meditation as a way of calming my mind and body after 8 hours of work and stress.  Still "trying" to learn it though.  Not working too well yet.

Being here always relieves my stress as well.  This is a wonderfully helpful supportive group of some of the most amazingly loving people I've met.

I'm also discovering a real love of photography.

My passions are animals and my amazing cats, my garden (flowers and veggies), studying natural medicine, weight lifting
All of these help my A/P, but what helps the most is the weight lifting. When I work out, my anxiety is almost non existant.


Though they mean the world to me, I didn't mention my family/friends or boyfriend because I can't place my passion or rely on my passion to come from others.

My passion at present is finding out more about Chronic Pain. I want to help myself to a life. I want to help others too.
For Anxiety, I take 1 1/2 mg of Xanax 3 times a day. I've been on this miracle med for 25 years. For some it's very addictive, but my progression upward has been very slow.

The passion that helps me get thru anxiety would have to be helping and listening to others in their time of need...when I tune in to problems other than my own - anxiety disappears :-)

I agree,

Listening and conversing with others on the forum takes my mind off of my problems.

Having a good husband and my dogs centers me and makes me feel more normal.

I also paint and that really does take my mind off of my anxiety.

Walking is another passion of mine. Keeps me focused and also releases chemicals in my body that make me feel good.

When I am really anxious, if I can find a familiar sitcom on tv, I feel better.

My family is at the top of my list... My 2 beautiful daughters and my new grandaughter. She is almost 8 months old and really makes me laugh.

I also love to paint, have sold a few paintings and am very proud of that. I also play classical guitar which is a real challenge and requires a lot of concentration. It is perfect in keeping my mind busy with other that worry.

I love ,love animals and used to volunteer at a rescue foundation but my health has prevented me from doing this lately.

Nature is my saving Grace all the time. I love birds, and trees and the ocean... etc. it restores my sould!.

And HW ... All of you here . You are truly a Blessing to me! Thank You!!!!

My passion is finishing my counselling degree so I can give back to all the peo[le who helped me with my recovery

Working with the refugees in my city/community who have been so mistreated and yet are so brave and make me laugh every day..

My passion is to live my life to the best, to jog on the beach every day (peacesoul - isn't it amazing how exercise works?!) and to be grateful for all I have in my life.

I love reading each of them and I know more out there

have passions to get them thru each day

 

 Another passion of mine is thunderstorms I

love to listen to them and I will fall slo easily into a sleep

when the lightnig and thunder is booming all around me

Seeing the wonders of nature and what the rain

'does to the grass and flowers making it

look all brand new

My biggest passion is LIVING...........

and helping others if I am able devil

My passions are painting and watching movies. Even though Im not very good at painting, I do it just for fun and as a hobby for something to do. I want to get a cork board thingy to hang on my wall so I can change the paintings out as I get tired of looking at them.

I like renting dvds because even if I cant sit through a whole movie (which I rarely can), I can just pick up where I left off, or take little breaks.

Well I am putting down everything that is good in my life and it takes two words: My husband! He is the most amazing man. Anything extra I have is usually given to him. But also helping on the anxiety board and Crohns board are very important to me also.

Books are one of my passions. I have a few areas in history and other nonfiction that I just can't get enough of. Sometimes I think if I hadn't chosen my current career that I would have made a good historian.

1. rock hunting , crystals and other stones

2. a good garage sale, i love treasure hunting for old things and things i need

3.taking a trip with family, me hubby and kids

4.gardening, growing beautiful things to see them when they bloom, and put off a lovely fragrance

5. to see new places and new things smilewinkgrin

6. i love doing a nice things for someone, like helping someone like the elderly, what wonderful stories they have to tell too.

I have a brand new passion!

I have entered myself in the spring city to bay run in September. It's only 16kms, but I am determined to beat my boyfriend!! I love jogging, but I've never competed before. I started training last week and so far I can make it about 7kms without wanting to pack it all in and go have a pedicure!! Wish me luck (I'm going to beat that smarty pants BF!!)

I think that my passion is my art. I have control over that. So when I am stressed or anxious, I like to paint. That brings me back down to earth.

I'm so glad you find passion in art. I wish I could do that. All my "creations" look like they have been done by a two year old on a sugar high!
