Obsessive thinking is a pattern of behavior that is often worsened by guilt, stress, anxiety...

Either way, people often have success working with a counselor to address it. do you have a counselor?

sounds like 100 HIV tests isn't going to dent your anxiety. Next it will be cancer, etc. After you come back negative again, its time to get to some counseling ASAP.

I dont mean to insult you but i just had to laugh when i read that you are getting tested again because i did the same exact thing!! three times i got tested! something in me was just so unsettling. Now remember when your test comes back negative *which it will!* remember that you were tested twice and that if there was something even remotely wrong with your blood that the doctor would catch it and they would do a retest. Do you think that maybe your anxiety is from the guilt of having unprotected sex? because if it is, then i would suggest forgiving yourself. Forgive yourself and make a promise to yourself that you are going to be a better person from all this and that you are going to get through this. Write your promise on a piece of paper and carry it with you. Every time that stinkin thinkin comes up, just remember your promise.

to everyone else- why do you think that HIV is such a prevelant fear of people with anxiety? n

How many test have you had now, I can't remember for sure confused .

I agree with the others, you need to get to counseling for your anxiety.  That is your major problem at this time IMHO.

Lets us hear how your test comes out.  Remember to breathe and slow down your thinking.  One step at a time.

How annoying!! Two weeks...try not to get yourself too anxious over this (easier said than done I know), remember to stay in the moment, not in the future where you have no control. Not one of us does. Know we care about and support you. Hang in there K?

is their I was wondering like a aniexty hotline that is freee man i feel upset alittle and my tummy hurts and it makes me worry :((

I live in Australia so I'm not much help with this one. I do know that if you look in the yellow pages (phone book) then they often list help hotlines in the front. You may find something there. I wish you all the best and hope you get to chat to someone soon. Know we are here to help and listen too.

Hi all whats going on me nothing sad hurt feel like crap.played football the other night got tackle only twice and im super sore and you already know what im thinking it is that im so sore for only getting tackle twice.it sucks wish I can just live my life long in healthy but can;t let this go off my mind and my ex I love so much is pissing me off now kind of upset over her but not a whole lott just alittle im super hurting on my side of my stomach and leg and ass cheek :( shakehead

At least the pain is from doing something physical..mind you if anyone tackled me once, never mind twice I would probably lay around moaning for a week! Sorry to hear that you are missing your ex and feeling like chit. It's okay to feel like that sometimes. I give myself permission to be sad at least once a day, just try not to obsess about the body pain, acknowledge it..let it go. Take care.
