Muscle tension can cause many things from simply pain, fatigue, headaches/migraines and many more symptoms, most time recognizing that this is a problem can be felt at bed time as we try to relax and sleep, only to have to repeat this course of action of relaxing these muscles time and time again. But even during the day this process is still going on but are to busy with both work and tending to chores only later do we feel the effects of it. The same can be said about
being cold, as your body tenses up to help you to keep your body warm and is a natural response to the cold, but in someway something went wrong in are systems putting us in a constants defence mood tightening up these muscles and now must be relearned to relax them.
Is CBT the answer
In many ways yes and in some cases meds can help as well but we can not rely just on meds as the fix all cure. there are many ways to help with this depending on how server the case maybe and can only take a few minutes at a time to do so.
1. Realizing that this is a real problem and taking the steps to react and correct this
2. depending on how bad you feel that this is a real problem in your life's, you may need to do this more often during the day and
remember it takes very little time to do,
3. By tightening up your muscles of the upper torso and feeling the tightness then releasing them and feel to over all comfort,
relieving pain and discomfort and by doing this over and over again as you feel the tightness come on your mind will see a
difference, a more relaxing difference that your body and mind needs and feels better by doing so but it will take time as
we have trained are bodies to react this way and now must redo the wrong.
Please help with anything that you have found helpful on this subject that has worked for you, and we will try to hit on other problems like this one at a time
