I am drawing the tree right now. I'll just stay online and come back and read
the questions. I saw something that looked like questions .... ok, by for awhile.

2:35: Gee, I couldn't draw a tree - couldn't remember what they looked like so I
went outside and met TWO neighbors. Ok now for the test ...

1. My tree has been growing there a very long time. It's maybe 80.
2. It's located in the front of my house by the swimming pool.
3. I did not redraw my tree. It's "as is"
4. A cat came up to meet and distract me. There are soon to be flowers around my
tree-not quite spring yet. It's by an old fashioned outdoor light.
5. My tree just stands there and withstands the storms. It has always done this.
6. I don't believe there are holes or knots in the tree. It's rough bark and it's not
a beauty.
7. I think my tree stands there and will soon shade us with green leaves. Perhaps
it will flower. Surprises await. This is the first meeting of the tree.
8. My tree is patient and kind. It does it's best to be a wonderful tree.
9. I put my tree on a blank greeting card. It's 5 inches high and 4# wide.
10. My tree is on the middle of the card.
11. My tree must have incredibly long roots. Just the other day I wondered
what the roots would look like if the rain should ever take it out.

Justinphil, your tree indicates that you are a bit low in confidence (due to the young age of your tree) and are hiding some of your insecurities (due to the huge size of your tree). Your tree provides for the birds, thus you can be productive. The location of your tree in a field suggests that you prefer to isolate yourself and do not like getting into contact with others much. AS said I did my tree today ............


1. How old is your tree?..........200 yrs old

2. Where is your tree located (in a garden, on the beach, yard, etc. etc.)? Front Lawn

3. Did you have to redraw your tree?....no

4. Are there any fruits, birds, flowers, etc. on the tree?..Branches and buds that turn to flowers

5. What happens to your tree in a storm?.....Stands strong .....blows a bit but is sturdy

6. Does your tree have any holes or knots in it? If yes, are the knots/holes located on the upper or lower part of the tree?.........I guess I have to say upper.........knots


7. What do you think about your tree? *Logical*......I feel it is strong and it is there to remind me to be that way

8. How do you feel about your tree? *Emotional*.........I love to see the buds come out then the flowers

9. What size did you draw your tree?.........8 ft tall by 6 ft across

10. Where on the paper did you draw your tree? in the middle

11. Does your tree have any roots? ...yes very very strong and sturdy ones

I used almost whole paper



roflmbo...can u imagine a tree on my lil paper that size now I know I have really lost it

5. What happens to your tree in a storm? In a storm, my tree bends but has never broken.

6. Does your tree have any holes or knots in it? If yes, are the knots/holes located on the upper or lower part of the tree? No, my tree has no holes or knots.

7. What do you think about your tree? *Logical* My  tree stands tall and proud and right in front of the house and shades the house from the hot summer sun.

8. How do you feel about your tree? *Emotional* My tree is very special, I love my tree as it was planted in memory of my son............he lives on.

9. What size did you draw your tree? 8 1/2 X 11 inches

10. Where on the paper did you draw your tree? I used the whole page.

11. Does your tree have any roots.  My tree has deep, strong roots.

3. Did you have to redraw your tree? no

4. Are there any fruits, birds, flowers, etc. on the tree? no
5. What happens to your tree in a storm? the branches sway really badly, some of the leafs fall even some of the smaller branches

6. Does your tree have any holes or knots in it? If yes, are the knots/holes located on the upper or lower part of the tree? no

7. What do you think about your tree? its ancient and makes the field special, the field is nothing with out it

8. How do you feel about your tree? The tree is special but endangered, the last of its kind

9. What size did you draw your tree? half the size of a post-it note 7.5cmd

10. Where on the paper did you draw your tree? middle

11. Does your tree have any roots? no but does have a fence in front of it

Lyn, your tree indicates that you are confident (your tree is old, it is located in the middle of the paper, and you have a positive outlook on what happens to your tree in a storm), but because your tree is so big, you are hiding your insecurities. Your tree is in your front lawn, which indicates that you are a private person but do enjoy getting out occasionally. A knot in the upper part of the tree indicates that you have suffered some trauma recently. How you think and how you feel about your tree is how you think and feel about yourself. You think that you are strong and hope to remain that way. The fact that you love seeing the buds on your tree blossom may mean that you encourage yourself to grow emotionally. As an answer to Pam's question about whether the OCD thing is good or bad. OCD means obsessive-compulsive disorder, but please note that I said OCD tendencies... Keyword being tendencies. It does not mean that you actually have OCD (I mean, it's a possibility, but not a certainty).

Furthermore, no one should view their individual test results as a 'good' or 'bad' thing. It is only a test to get to know yourself better. This test also has some merit, as it is used by psychologists. I, however, am not a professional psychologist (or any type of psychologist really), so my test results are probably sketchy, at best, and should not be taken too seriously.

And as another note... There were a lot more questions about the tree than what I have. I can remember what some of the questions were, but I can't remember exactly what all the certain things meant in regards to those questions, so I did not ask those questions. For instance, there were questions regarding how you drew branches (if you drew branches), how you drew the roots (if you drew the roots), whether or not you shaded in the bark, etc. etc.

:)... So... Hope that answers everything...

Celey, I forgot to mention, my tree is really 119 years old......LOL.

No it is 19 years  old as that was when we planted it when our son died so it is working it's way to 21 years old and then it will stay that age forever in my heart.  Thank you that was fun and very good calls.

I haven't read the other interpretations so that it wouldn't effect my answers:

1. How old is your tree? My tree is a teenager, not young but not very old.

2. Where is your tree located (in a garden, on the beach, yard, etc. etc.)?  My tree is alone in a yard surrounded by green grass.

3. Did you have to redraw your tree? Nope, I did it once and it is something I drew a lot as a kid.

4. Are there any fruits, birds, flowers, etc. on the tree?  There is a hole in the middle that I like to think a squirrel lives in.

5. What happens to your tree in a storm?  It doesn't move. 

6. Does your tree have any holes or knots in it? If yes, are the knots/holes located on the upper or lower part of the tree? The hole where the squirrel lives is smack in the middle of the trunk.

7. What do you think about your tree? *Logical* I think my tree is simple and cute.

8. How do you feel about your tree? *Emotional*  It is comforting and looks like a happy place to be.

9. What size did you draw your tree?  My tree is on a folded in half grocery list.  The page has 11 lines and the tree takes up 8 of them, pretty much centered.

10. Where on the paper did you draw your tree?  Ah, centered.

11. Does your tree have any roots? The trunk is two curved lines like this ) ( and the bottom of the curved lines go below the grass line so I guess they are roots.

3. Did you have to redraw your tree? No, it seems I always draw the same version of a tree

4. Are there any fruits, birds, flowers, etc. on the tree?  Apples

5. What happens to your tree in a storm?  The branches sway 

6. Does your tree have any holes or knots in it? If yes, are the knots/holes located on the upper or lower part of the tree? There is a knot and it is in the center of the tree trunk

7. What do you think about your tree? *Logical* I think it is the same tree I have drawn all my life when drawing a tree.

8. How do you feel about your tree? *Emotional*  It reminds me of a good day.

9. What size did you draw your tree?  It takes up half the page (regular size copy paper).

10. Where on the paper did you draw your tree?  More towards the bottom.

11. Does your tree have any roots? No
