I am freaking out.

I have been on sertalene and Clonazepam as needed for the last month. I went to the doctor a month ago with a major health anxiety flair up. Since on the S and C my joints and muscles hurt. I know from reading the boards a lot of people like these meds, but has anyone every experienced this with these or any other similar med.

I was to the doctor on Friday and he is switching my meds and running more tests, but I am looking for any kind of reassurance I can get, and you guys are the only ones I know with experience.

Take a deep breath............
Anxiety can make your body have many ugly symptoms.......
Here is something to look over, and reasure yourself.
It doesn't mean when your Dr is running test that something is wrong, he's just trying to rule out things to be safe. Your lucky in that way, my Dr just chalks everything up to Anxiety... I am not likeing that either....... I hope that this helps.......... take a deep breath...........

Hi Joe,

I'm not experienced with those meds, but wanted to post to you to offer my support and best wishes. I hope very much that your doc will be able to help you with this, and that you'll be feeling less anxious, and less sore and stiff, very soon. I'm sure that others who have taken these meds will be along to post to you about this topic.

I am sorry to hear your having a rough time.............

Zoloft (sertalene) is a drug used by many so I hope that you will receive some sound advice from our wonderful members.

I am glad you posted as sometimes just talking to us helps you get your fears and anxieties out on the table for others to be able to support you.

You have my support.

Maybe I am not on high enough a dose to make a dent. My doc started me at 50 and after two weeks of nothing up to 75. I have heard people being on 100 to 150 of this medication?

Joe,

I don't know much at all about those two meds, but I just wanted to send you some encouraging wishes in deling with the HA. Panic queen makes a really good point that docs run tests to rule things out as well as to try and find out what is wrong. I've had more than my fair share of HA in the past year, and had literally a dozen serious test come back negative: EKGs, pulmonary function tests, etc. I'd like to think that's typical, so that you can count on the same "poor" batting average on your test results.

HA is really taking its toll on members this month, and I'd like to "kick it into next week," just not my next week, nor yours, nor ANYBODY else's!
