I USED to have very very bad anxiety and anxiety attacks for several years. Notice I emphasised (spelling)?? USED. My anxiety no longer takes over my life. I was on antidpressants, mild tranquilizers, herbal remedies, whatever there was out there. What helped me the most was when I went to a Psychologist to find out why I was "thinking" the way I was thinking. I didn't realize this but I was apparently a very negative thinker which only aggravated my anxiety therefore bringing on and making my symptoms much worse. He helped me with Cognitive Therapy. Look it up on the internet and buy books on it and read them. I feel I am "cured" which you're not really supposed to use that word because all you really learn is how to manage you anxiety but since I am able to manage it so well I very rarely have a problem with anxiety anymore. BE POSITIVE, IT WILL TAKE A WHILE, IT DOES NOT HAPPEN OVER NIGHT BUT YOU WILL GET TO THE POINT ONE DAY WHEN YOU SAY "HEY, I HAVEN'T FELT ANXIETY IN LIKE 3 DAYS"!!! THEN IT WILL BE LONGER AND LONGER AND LONGER STRETCHES OF STRESS FREE DAYS TAKING OVER YOUR LIFE. GOOD LUCK!! I KNOW YOU CAN OVERCOME THIS.
