I am noticeably calmer after almost 2 wks on Celexa. However, I had to go into a client meeting unexpectedly today and also on Monday. I wasn't able to mentally prepare myself or make sure my IBS was okay before going into the room. Once that door shuts is when my anxiety kicks into overdrive.
Well, normally that would result in a near panic attack. I didn't have any panic attack sensations, but rather for the first minute or so in both meetings it felt as if my blood ran ice cold in my veins. It was so weird...can't really explain it. It was awful! Then as suddenly as it set in, once I realized my old anxiety symptoms weren't kicking in and my IBS was okay, I relaxed, the weird icey sensation left. I was fine the remainder of the meetings.
What gives? What did I just experience? Has anyone felt that before?
