Yep, I've sacrificed caffeine and candy to help with my GAD. Medication has helped me, but sometimes I still get panic attacks. There are ways you can deal with it. Just remember that panic attacks will pass and YOU WILL NOT DIE FROM A PANIC ATTACK. You are trying too hard to not have a panic attack or chest pains and that's why they get worse because you fight it. Just accept it for what it is. I still have trouble doing that, but I am getting better at it. Try to relax, music helps me a lot.
