Hi, my name is Danny, Im a twenty year old male in Brooklyn NY with GAD. In addition, im over weight, and hypertensive, but have healthy cholestrol levels and no other health problems. I take Metoprolol Tartrate 25mg twice daily, and Klonopin 1mg as needed and have been in therapy since early 2005....Ok...thats done with...
So...I woke up today very anxious...my anxiety is almost entirely health related. Ive had this mild chest pain on the left side all morning/afternoon...and I get this occassionally...I've had EKG's, blood work, etc...and it comes back normal..I have an appointment with a cardiologist this Thursday....How exactly is mild chest pains caused from anxiety? I really still don't understand it really. My GAD is becoming overwhelming. Life feels so wasted...Right now, i feel calmer, if not a little depressed, and still im getting this occassional sensation in my left chest. It isnt a pain really..just a sort of noticing of it...if that makes sense. Almost as if something is behind my left chest, and lightly grazing its finger tips pushing outward...Eh..I dont know..its very mild though..
Im so tired of worrying im going to die.
