Hello, I suffer from extreme anxiety, to the point where it is difficult to leave my apartment. I have been researching herbal supplements and the only things that I have really found are Kava and Passion Flower. The Kava, I cannot find anywhere, does anyone know where I can find if it's still available? And to be honest, if there is the suggestion of something better I would love to know. The Passion Flower I read can cause a rapid heartbeat, which is something I want to greatly avoid. I don't even drink caffeine anymore because of my heart.
Any tips and recommendations are greatly welcome and appreciated.

Hello,
Many people find relief from anxiety by using aroma therapy and I myself will use this sometimes.
Commonly used essential oils for anxiety:</FONT color>
Bergamot
Cedarwood
Geranium
Lavender
Lemon
Neroli
Patchouli
Sandalwood
Sweet Marjoram
I prefer the lavendar and sandalwood.
I am sure others will have suggestions for you.
Take care,

I highly recommend Lavender for relaxation. . . Just received a Lavender filled neck pillow and the essential oils for an early Christmas present. Talk about
feeling so soothed :) Even though I believe in many alternative approaches to healing, I was always on the fence about
Aromatherapy until now :)
Good luck on your quest!

I got some lavender incense once, not for anxiety but just to make my place smell nice. I think it did calm me down.
