We both think that at this point he will keep his job since no one higher up has talked to him about whether he is doing poorly or not and as much money that his employers have put into his training that just doesn't make sense. Fugs you are probably right that it's a tactic he is using to get him to work harder, his boss used to be a drill sergent. You are also right that I don't need to focus on the "what if", even though its really hard not to worry all the time about it.
