Sometimes if I feel the stress trying to take over I burn off the extra adrenaline with some aerobic exercise. Since you are alone at the moment it's a perfect time to do some running in place, or jumping jacks-put that nervous energy to work! I also find that singing (loudly) calms me down. It is probably two-fold: First of all I love to sing, and it forces me to breath properly (can't really hyperventilate and sing at the same time!) Again, advantageous since you're alone at work!
Give it a try, it might work;)
