I feel so sick to my stomach panic attack?

sad   This morning, my daughter came running into my room crying that her teeth were ugly!! i quickly went stright to the bathroom to notice a brownish plaque?? i know this doesn't seem understandable but thats the best way i can describe it!! there was barley no white left on her two front adult teeth...... im so worried i feel horrible.. and i don't understand how or what happend, she is very carefull about her teeth and brushes frequently... we have a dentist appointment today i made one ASAP.. i have to take her out of school but i need to get it checked out... but im having this panic attack!!!!!!!! shakehead   and i can't calm down i feel like i failed my daughter about her teeth sad

Good Morning,

Big breath and don't let your mind trick you into "beating yourself up" .  You have not failed your daughter but have instilled good oral care into her daily habits.

There are several things that may cause this brown staining suddenly but wait to see what her dentist has to say.  Often just having your  teeth cleaned at the dentist can correct this problem.

Do let us know how your daughter does as we are here to support you and your daughter.

When I am stressed, any little thing can put me over the edge, and anxiety filled mornings can set the tone for a rough day! I'm sure that everything will be fine with your daughter's teeth-the dentist will know what to do. You need to be sure that you are okay though, so be sure to do some relaxation exercicses and deep breathing to keep you from having a panic attack. Take care and let us know how it goes.

On the contrary, you saw something that drew some concern and you promptly acted upon it. That's not the sign of a mother who failed her daughter - that's the sign of a mother who is taking care of her daughter. You can't prevent things from happening in life, but you can choose to take action about them (as you're doing). Good job!

The visit went well, i over reacted again :(

she has a intermal stain which is common in kids who had a severe illness while being young... like for instance she had namonia in her lungs which caused fever which caused an internal stain in her teeth, they said ther was nothing at all wrong with her teeth, that it was common... she has no cavitities she has great strong teeth and mommy is better.... now just to conquer the other issues......

one step at a time....
