Hi,
My name is Cathy. I was diagnosed with Crohn's 21 years ago, I've never had any surgery, and, thanks to 6 years of Remicade, my last colonoscopy showed no signs of active Crohn's!
Unfortunately, I am now dealing with anxiety... I've had mild anxiety attacks before and was able to get myself under control by walking away from whatever was causing the stress. Three weeks ago, however, I had a whopper of an attack that came on for no apparent reason. I had just finished straightening out my classroom when I started to ache all over. I sat down at my desk and my arms felt like they were in vises and being weighted down, my hands started to tingle and my chest felt like it was being crushed! As I made my way to my friend's classroom I could tell I wasn't breathing right. Someone got the Principal and they called an ambulance.... I am now on 12.5mg hydrochlorothiazide for high blood pressure, 1mg Lorazepam 2x/day, but I only take it once a day because I'm also taking 5mg Zolpidem to help me sleep and I don't know if I should take the two so close to each other... need to contact my doc about that tomorrow.
Thanks for reading! ((((((HUGS))))))
