pelvic muscle

I'm new (april 2010) and this is my first post as don't know what i'm doing. However, here's my question: my daughter, 17, below belly button, her muscle is inflammed and tissue around it bleeding.she's had anti inflammatory pills. all blood work done, internal exam, xrays, you name it and they, dr's, don't know why this happened. She started birth control 3 mths ago. Can "the pill" cause this? I might add that she cannot do her sports because of this and is painful.
