Good Morning and thank you for the positive post. Sounds like you have learned a lot of good things to help with your palpitations. Keep on walking.

Here's hoping that All have had a joyous Christmas and wishing A "Palp" free New Year. Thanks for your kind comment. I pray that my power walking keeps working '. Mg of 375mgs a day is amazing for muscles as well as helping the body use Calcium correctly and sending it to the bones and not injuring the heart!!!!

Hello, Heart palps are new to me, well I guess I am on 3 weeks now of them happening everyday, feels like all day! I have talked to my doctor about
it and he has listened ot my heart and I have just recently had a ultrasound and barium swallow done for my GERD symptoms and they have both come back normal. I have mentioned to my doctor about
my heart palpitations and he seems to think it is my anxiety, which I am sure it is, but to just go on and it is ruining my life. I have been on two different meds for my GERD symptoms and I have a perscript
ion for ativan but I never take it, only took it once.
I have been practicing my deep breathing, but it just isn't helping tonight. I am pretty sure what I eat is having some effect on my palps, I have noticed that the last few times I eaten anything with sugar in it, it brings them on, I thought it was just chocolate, until tonight, I had a sliver of cheesecake and boy am I paying for it now, for the last hour my heart has skipped a beat every 5 mins! It is driving me crazy! I have started to cry 3 times, then my 2 year old son walks in the room and I have to hide the fact that I have been crying. But it scares the s**t out of me. I am considering taking one of my ativan just to clam myself down as deep breathing just doesn't seem to be working right now.
I have been reading other posts and it is comforting to know that I am not the only "weird" person with heart palpitions.
I am going to take an ativan and relax and read some more posts, feel free to send me some advice.
