Hi All,

My anxiety episode started in Sept 2008 when i suddenly started feeling dizzy, i was going through lot of stress that time, i started visiting different doctors everyday, got my Brain MRI, ECG,TMT,ECO,Endoscopy,LFT all came to normal, but still i could not find reason why i was feeling dizzy and nauseous all the time. Finaly i met a psychiatrist and with 5-6 sitting in 3 months the symptoms were manageable that means i use to get it but didnt bother. i have white coat syndrome whenever i visit a clinic by BP and pulse are high which settles down when i am relaxed.

Last 2 months again i started feeling heaviness in the chest and pain in the left arm, till now i was not on any sort of medication and my sleep was well, but now i wake up with a weird uneasy feeling in the morning, i went to a homeopath 15 days back he has given me some medicines, i also went to a Dr who says the heaviness in chest is due to IBS and gave me medicines for the same. Some days are good i think its gone and next day BAM it comes.

Pls advise.

Welcome to HealingWell,

Many things cause chest heaviness.  Yes this could be caused by anxiety, however, I am not a physician.  I would certainly encourage you to see your psychiatrist again.

Hi Kraj. I am sorry that you are going through this again. I do have to second Kitt, and suggest a thourough check-up from your physician.

If you had symptoms before that showed improvement with therapy, maybe it's time for a refresher course? I had to go through two courses of CBT:)

about a year ago. I had had so many tests within just a few months. I had burning throughout my body and high anxiety to the point at times I couldn't sit still. At work I would have to leave my desk and take a walk. Unfortunately I would often walk to the bathroom and look at myself and see my skin flushing which would depress me even more. I went to every kind of doctor available and I too, went several times a week just to find relief and answers. My answers never came. I still to this day don't know what was going on inside my body but I got my relief from a homeopathic doctor. I took all and still will take the big tests from our local clinic to make sure nothing shows up. I even have security med's I call them, to use if I need them. With homeopath remedies they take time to heal. You are not bandaging the symptoms you are curing them. I still get burning along with heart palpitations but they are less frequent and not as intense as the cure is occurring. My anxiety has come way down but still shows it's ugly head now and then. Stick with this site everyone here understands and is here for you.

Hi All,

thanks for your response i realy helps a lot, i eagerly wait for the responses, last night i had a relatively good sleep 7 hrs, and feeling better as compared to what i felt the last week, i am scared of going to the clinic, i am trying to keep myself busy at work, when i am in meeting or busy in work i feel absolutely normal, the morning is bad as that is the time when the thoughts starts kicking in and you have to control them, they keep on coming you have to keep on convincing yourself that all is well. Two years back when it started i was afraid of going out, crossing the road, going in malls and theaters but this time its not that bad and am sure this will also go away. i am planing to go on a office trip for 2 days from day after lets see how it goes. The motivating feedback from you all really helps me would appreciate the same support always.
