Hey everyone I just wanted to say that I suffer from a bunch of anxieties from panic to hypochodira and I am forcing myself to go to the gym and honestly I believe that even thirty minutes on the eliptical can so theropuetic for you. I feel like I just took a natural Xanax from doing cardio on the eliptical and lifting weights. Before I went I was all anxious because everyone is looking at each other in the gym all the time checking each other out and I having been stressing about
head aches and painful lymph nodes but now I just dont care I used to work out all the time before my anxiety hit a high point you feel so much better. Force yourself to do it confront your fear and you will feel alot better at least for today I do.

Hiya Dolfan,
Well Done thats amazing, it feels fantastic when you do something you didnt think you could do, I'm not as adventurous as that but i felt that way on Monday i managed to go out and go the stores and visit the Dr without it turning into a disaster and it felt great.
Keep up the good vibes and i hope it's a turning point for you :=D

Way to go and I agree with you, who cares what others think at the gym. You are there for your health and that is what matters.
I admire you for getting out there - keep it up.
Kindly,
Kitt

Good job D! I am a firm believer in exercise as an anxiety buster! The gym is great, but don't forget about
other forms of moving around for your health too.
Walking outside is a perfect way to stay in shape. It's beautiful, full of fresh air, and it's free!
Mall walking-it goes so fast with all of the distractions and window shopping;)
Dancing videos...ok not for everyone, but they are challenging, fun, and really get your heart pumping
Dance class (personal endorsement alert
) I teach dance, and if you are brave, there are a lot of fun new dance classes to try. I teach traditional dance- ballet, tap and hip-hop, but there are new dance/fitness classes such as Zumba that look fun!
Whatever you choose Dofan is right, the endorphins that are released duing aerobic exercise (remember 30 min. sustained) can't be beat.
Keep on movin'!

Hi
Well done for getting to the gym. In my view exercise is more beneficial to me than any of the medication I take,.
