Anyone get to see Ellen today on tv?

It's not on till later 'round here, but I'll try and catch it or youtube it later:) He is funny..use to watch him on SLN back in the day!

Hazelnut, I feel so sorry for all of the people living in the southern states this year with all the snow and cold you are getting. I live in Minnesota but up here we expect winter and are prepared for it. Our highway department is ready and equipped for blizzards and within no time our streets are cleared, we hardly ever have days when we are totally shut down. We have had temps range from 37 below to a few days ago we had 20's. 70's sounds heavenly, I have to admit. We have had a long winter and we aren't done yet.

Storm's gonna be hitting me here in Toronto soon!! How bad is it guys? Been hearing a lot on the news - apparently Detroit/Windsor got a beating.. Then again, usually when they hype this big, nothing happens. In the words of my (oddball) father, "I think I've seen this movie before..."

Southern New Mexico..

I've been wearing shorts pretty much all "winter" until Sunday.. It was 44 Yesterday a high of 31.. We have about 5 inches of snow here this morning. Am loving it.. =)

The only thing I don't like..

My daughter had a meeting last night (she's in middle school) anyway she is going on a trip to washington and NY. So we had to go to this meeting. When we left the house it was snowing. Nothing bad.. Meeting took 35 minutes. We stopped to pick up dinner. Went in ordered took maybe 20 minutes walked out and our windshield was frozen.
Headed up the hill ( we live 10 miles outside of town) and ended up in an accident. The driver in front of us slammed on her breaks and spun out. Causing us to hit her. Infront of her was an SUV that had flipped.
Roads were icey so we were only doing about 15 mph. And no one was hurt. But it took another 1.5 hours before we got home.

I wish those who didn't know how to drive in snow would just stay home!
