Just wanted to give a shout out to all of the A/P family.  I know that a lot of you check-in, but maybe haven't posted lately...

You are always in our thoughts, and are missed when we don't see you around.  If you are able to post a quick 'Hi' please do tongue

We'd love to hear from..MzTaz, Ninja Kitty, Twigggy Gal, Green Grove, Fugs, Camylou, Percy Cat, Nery Meg...

If I missed anybody, it is just my faulty brain...not because you've been forgotten!  Please, everybody join in and say HELLO!

Hello!! i hope everyone is doing well. Im in my 2nd week of EMDR and so far so good.... seems to be helping a bit. I like it. the only thing i dont like is my therapyst moved to a new office, and i have allergies, so i can handle smells....and her new office is FILLED with air freshners, and candles and lots of stuff, i have to wear a mask when i go in there.. .*sigh*. but, i like her so much and she seems to be helping me, so i will keep going back!

hey everyone. im doing okay with anxiety/ panic today. i smacked my head yesterday when I was going to the basemen to do laundry. figures, i buy a house where you need to duck down when youre only 4'11.( argh) so since then , i have a bad headache. i slept for a total of 6 hrs last night, something i probably havent done in over 6 months, so that part is good i guess. woke up feeling okay, and an hr later, headache was back.
ok, im done complaining now...this was supposed to be a happy thread.

how ironic that it takes a headache for my mind to get off of its panic and anxiety kick. health anxiety no, but i figure i have no vomiting or anything so im probably alright

I have not. I know that she had a family tragedy, and struggles with ongoing health issues...Our thoughts and prayers are always with her, and if anyone has news, we would like to know how she's doing.

Checking in, All is well on my front. My A/P is down to a very managable level as of late. No big attacks. My palps are almost non existant. My neg thoughts are very quickly dismissed.

I hope everyone else is doing well.

Hi All

I am signed off work at the moment due to my anxiety/depression but keeping myself busy by general house cleaning getting into my hovering at the moment no dust speck is safe in my house Lol. I have also been heading down the gym 3 times a week to help reduce my levels of anxiety and increase my mood so seems to be working well.

I have also been spending a lot of time listening to music as I love music and find it a great way to take my mind of things. I seem to go through stages of what I listen too and my music collection is huge but seem to be listening to a lot of Pink Floyd, Beatles, MGMT and U2 to name a few.

I have also been coming here more often again which has been good as meet a few new members and have been doing the quiz most days having more success some days than others lol.

I hope every one is well and has a good weekend which is least anxiety as possible. Also Lyn if you read this my thoughts are with you and hope to see you back here soon also a big thank you to Kitt who has helped me so much over the years and S.C who is doing an excellent job as moderator and Meg who has also helped me so much I hope you are well and will speak soon.

Good Morning,

Lyn has not been on since 8/25/2010. I know she has suffered severe trauma when her son died last year as well as she has multiple health problems.

I have emailed her and left messages on her Facebook but no response. I do know she stays in touch with some of our members. Lyn, we wish you well and hope sometime in the future you will return to the forums.

Hi everyone, I have stuck close to this forum for the past few months. My anxiety is under control most of the time, I still struggle during each day for short periods of time. I just live day to day and hope each day will be a little better than the last. Thinking positive.

Hello all,

I gave myself permission to vent all my frustrations to my husband today and he even laughed at some of my comments. Now that I got it all out I can just move on as I would never hurt my children by telling them my frustrations as they do a lot for us but sometimes what they don't do drives me around the bend.

I also found that putting ice cubes in a plastic bag and crushing them with a hammer to make ice packs for hubby's ankle was very therapeutic. It felt so good to smash those frigid little buggers.

Life is better.

Kitt, maybe you could take up ice-sculpting as your next hobby!
I'm glad that you got some of the bad stuff out...it's good to let it go. I am happy that you are feeling better and hubby is on the mend toosmile

I wish it was snowing here. This is the first year for about 7 years that I have not been out skiing as still recovering from the operations I had.
