Oh, thought of one more...saturday I heard Jack Johnson's cover of 'Imangine'...hard to step into those shoes, but he did a good job, and his voice is like buttah!!! The accoustic picking he does is pretty amazing too.

Yes the link did not work as blocked by sony so will try and get a different one to work. I will check out the cover of Imagine I love that song and your right a hard one to cover.

P.S Tip of the day, If you like Pink Floyd check out a band called the easy star all stars who do a dub/reggae version of dark side of the moon, Its called dub side of the moon and it is really good.

I love that song :) I heard their songs every now and then, know a bit about those guys, but now I'm re-discovering them all over again.
I've always thought that guy Kian was cute. NOW I know we have a few things in common - guitars & Metallica ;)

I am not a westlife fan but can see why the ladies like them lol. Pinks, Metallica on the other had I love enter sandman being my favorite tune.

Yes Guns & Roses were a classic band. Their were a lot of other good bands that came out around the same time such as Bon Jovi, Pearl Jam, Iorn Maiden etc etc

Are you in the UK? the reason i ask is that I have been posting some links which do not seem to come up on this site and kitt said she got the same message when she tried to open one of my links and I also got the message when opening the same link as you. I wonder if this is why I can not post a link????

Pearl Jam I used to listen to loads my fav tune of theirs was Alive.

I just have to toss in  Prince - as he is our home town boy.  Pearl Jam has played many times in the Twin Cities and often at First Avenue, a nightclub/venue for many famous Groups.


During the 1980s First Avenue in Minnesota tapped into a new, revolutionary kind of music. The music industry became more diversified and included new wave, heavy metal and alternative rock. Minneapolis nightlife was thriving and people came  just to hear the likes of national acts such as Prince. He became a regular at the club and eventually recorded his movie, Purple Rain, at the highly acclaimed locale.

Music makes you want to get up and dance or at least tap your toes - great anxiety buster.

I'm not in the UK, I'm posting from a little country in Asia ;)
It's nice how we're all from different parts of the world.
I suspect it's some country/copyright issues there.

I never listened to Prince, but I know he's great & some people consider him a legend. When you mentioned Prince, I can't help but think of Michael Jackson as well...

I agree, music is a *great* anxiety buster (when it comes to the right songs) ;)
