Today I went for a walk at a popular trail (and it was a beautiful day to be out!) As I was returning to my car, I passed a couple who was just setting out on their walk/jog/hike? The woman says to the man "I have no energy today...or maybe I'm just feeling mellow."
"Just feeling mellow"? Wouldn't be great to just have a thought like this? For A/Pers this thinking doesn't exist! We automatically think OMGsh, I must be coming down with something...or I must have some dreaded disease that's causing my low energy...or maybe a panic attack is coming my way...or, or AAAGGGHHH!!!!!
It's all in the attitude and perception people! This woman recognized that she was low on energy, and was able to just dismiss it as normal, relaxed mellowness. How AWESOME is that?
I'm definitely taking notes! I want to be her when I grow up;)
