for review of my test results - well my dr hadn't sent them over so i waited and waited and all they send over was a summary of one holter which the doctor said wasn't enough. he is very well known in town and was very busy but the man is INTENSE! he was practically yelling while he was talking. kind of weird for a heart doctor - he should be reasurring and calm in my opinion. anyway, when i got home i realized the man hadn't even listened to my heart! weird? he wants me to retake the holter and echo stress for HIM to review - i said it was done a year ago and he said that he has it done once a year and you can get a virus which damages your heart so it's good to have done again. hmmm. so basically i didn't learn anything new and took 3 hours off of work. irritating.
anyway, i was talking to my neighbor who is a nurse and she said that i should quit thinking about it and my pvcs and give her my bp cuff and she can tell by looking at me i am healthy. my eyes and skin are healthy and young looking and she said quit worrying about it. taking the tests again will just make it worse by focusing on it. she has a heartrate of 150 at the dr's the other day and has alot she said but she had a stress echo and her heart was fine. she has anxiety but doesn't worry about her heart ever.
what to do............i think i will just have him read what i've already had done and see what he says. he says if i don't have any episodes of any tach or pvcs longer than a few seconds, he can't tell much though. unless i wear an event monitor that i can record episodes. he also doesn't think my 2 second svts are svts but prob. pacs.
