called the doctor she gave me a script for 20 collazpame  at1mg  but all it does is make me sleppy i have an appointnent on the 25 0f may i am so scared to go what would happen if a took 2 colazpame before appointment to give me enought courge to go   can somebody please answer me

Parz,

I have heard you mention doubling up on your meds before. This is a question that I think you should ask your doctor about. If you take two, it will probably make you too sleepy to go, if it is making you sleepy when you take it. Be careful with your meds. Use, don't abuse. But do talk to your doc before you decide to double up on your medication.

Parz, is there someone who can go with you to your appointment? Is this the follow-up with a urologist? I know that you were very worried about that one, but remember what a lot of us posted back to you? We all had similar circumstances, and it turned out to be easily cured-nothing serious!

If you can find a family member or friend to take you to the appointment and at least keep you distracted while waiting, I think that will help. I've had my mom, sister, husband, all but random strangers go in with me at my appointments! I am at the point now where I can go in on my own, but it took a lot of chaperoned visits, and there's nothing wrong with that!

Be strong, it's going to be okay. Let us know how it goes:)

Hey Parz. I saw your other thread. Definitely ask your doctor before doing anything with your medicine... don't want to self medicate. I've asked my doctors if I could take more of something over the years... for something that was particularly stressful (a day, event, etc...)

Since the medicine is already making you feel sleepy, sounds like something you should NOT increase if you're driving. SC's idea of a chaperone is a good one. Nothing quite like having support and some distraction as well.

IF you do take more of the meds... just realize that you're going to be more sleepy at the doctors and may not be as clearheaded. I would suggest having a list of questions you want to clearly address beforehand, so as not to skip anything you would like to be answered.

Anyway, really doubt it's going to be anything serious. It's good you're going to the doctor and you should be giving yourself credit for doing so.
