Our minds can play so many mean and weird tricks on us when we are stressed and having A/P. I have had so many moments of strange, unexplainable brain glitches. The more that you focus and worry about
them, the worse your symptoms get:(
The really weird and disturbing thing about
it is that sometimes these things seem to come out of the blue, even if we don't feel particularly stressed...but we sure do after something like that happens!
That is why it's important to do the stress-management techniques, like the breathing/relaxation exercises that I mentioned, to bring the over-all daily stress levels down. This will help the symptoms to subside, and help you to deal with them when they do pop up.
While you are in the Anxiety Resource Guide, look up the anxietycentre link and check out the long list of anxiety symptoms that are listed there. This should help you to know that all sorts of things are anxiety related, and nothing to worry about
. (besides realizing that your body is trying to tell you something, and you need to treat the anxiety that is!)
