Getting worked up isn't good. Did you all go to the doctor and get checked out? Congratulations on the pregnancy too. 8 Months is almost full term too. My godson, was born at 6 months and he is striving today, healthy, and is 4 years old now. You can't really make a car accident go away, but you can ease it by going to therapy.
I was hit by a car, I mean litterly, hit by a car. I was crossing the crosswalk with my light, when a jeep struck me. So I understand what you are going through. I was scared to cross the street for the longest time. I still get really scared if I see a car coming at me and not slowing down. I make like a mad di**ens to get across when I see a car isnt slowing down. But I've learned how to live with it, and how to cross a street again with therapy. You may not have a car now but there's city buses, friends who can give you rides, walking, biking, so on. By chance did the place where you got hit have a camera light? Where I got hit had lights and a camera, so they pulled the tapes, and had evidence it was my turn. No witnesses is hard, but you really don't know if there is any witnesses. You can also get a pro bono lawyer and go after their insurance for emotional damage. There are things a lawyer can do too, by having you describe the events and him/her making a thing that matches that, so you can show them. Like my lawyer he made a 4 way road with cross walks and a human (to symbolize me) and a car. With that, I showed him where the car came from and where I was standing. Moderators, this is off my personal experience not medical world.
