I know exactly what you're going through, I believe this is called depersonalization or derealization. I went through this for about four months in 2007. I thought I was losing my mind! I did alot of research and came across an article that really helped me get through it. It said that imagine a bunch of pieces of paper floating by you, if you ignore them, they will keep on flowing. But if you stop and look at one, they will not go away. The hardest thing to do is the best thing to do in this case, which is try to ignore it (I know it's hard, but believe me it will go away).
