anyone ever google anxiety symptoms and think they have MS?

ok i have had this tingling/pressure in my left temple off and on for weeks (think it's from clenching my teeth) and now tonight i'm having tingling on the top of my head.  but sometimes lately i will get cold tingling in my face a little too.  just weird. 

don't google these symtoms cause you will think you have MS. 

has anyone done this?  i have a neuro appt wed.  my doc doesn't know what it is.  ha  nice.

YES! I just got done googling my symptoms, I want to know too what is causing this tingling sensation I have! It starts in my upper back between my shoulder blades and radiates up my neck into my face, and down my arm into my hand. And it's all on the left side. There's a small part of my right cheek that feels like this too. My face and neck feel like novacaine wearing off from the dentist. It's freaking me out a little, this like the third time it has happened now. Here goes my health anxiety again!!! LOL

ug it's so much fun huh? i'm supposed to be exercising and i'm on this darn computer again. i just got a new Wii Zumba cd. think i'll go do it and stop obsessing. check in with me later. ha :) try to distract yourself. :P it's hard i know. but i hate this anxiety stuff. ugh

could you have hurt your back somehow?

I'm thinking there may be a pinched nerve in there somewhere. HOPING that's all it is. But i've had this twice before while actually having a panic attack. Now it's just here and it's extremely annoying! I was getting myself all wound up about it earlier and that doesn't help. I might make an appointment with my chiropractor, because I do have some pain right next to my left shoulder blade. Haven't been there in years! LOL

Remember that being an elite member of the Health Anxiety Club entitles us to special priviledges such as...

*noticing every little twinge, tingle and strange body sensation
*freaking out and assigning a dreaded disease to said sensations
*actually creating more senesations through our anxiety and panic!

Lol! I am making light of it, because it helps to laugh...but it is all true. Most people will experience random/strange feelings in their bodies, and not even think twice about it...meanwhile we are setting up appointments with specialists!

Well, hang in there ladies, and do your best to utilize your coping mechanisms...you'll be fine;)

and fox, maybe a trip to the chiro is what you need!  it's worth a try!  :)

i used to get my neck adjusted all the time cause i have problems with myneck from being a legal secretary - computer work all day.  until one daywhen my co-worker got hers adjusted and had to be checked into the hospital for stroke symptoms. weird.  they said it was complicated migraines but she had no head pain really. blurred vision and numbness of limbs.  freaky.  now i'm kinda leary and don't go as much.  ugh

LOL! Well thanks Alot Hazel! No, just kidding, i'm good. I think it was just my anxiety acting up with my face tingling, because not long after I took my xanax it went away. But I do still have tingling in my arm every now and then throughout the day, that tells me it's a pinched nerve somewhere.

And SC, yes, it does help to laugh! I read your post and it brightened my mood. Thanks! :)

yes....tingling ? ! yep googling my symptoms...this symptom....
funny you should ask

yep tingling has been "the" symptom for october...kinda sorta...it started end of september...close enough

i dont know what the heck it is all about...i just assume its one more lovely affect of high anxiety

and yes when i googled it and even went to th AARP symptom checker site , yep all kinds of strange and deadly horrible deseases came up

i have some other , different "side affects" to my anxiety that are similar to tingling...but whose counting

anxiety is real crazy...(talking to self)

Hey guys...as a severe health anxiety sufferer one tip...don't dr google...he's not our friend he upps our anxiety...we look until we find something to scare ourselves to death..then we sit and obsess about what we read....I've had face, neck and shoulder tingling...dr says it's anxiety..nothing else.....I'm happy with that....spending too much time on the computer will give u a sore tingling neck too....I've had that too back in the day when I googled myself silly.......best wishes shan

Yes! That was the first thing I found when I was originally having PA. It turned out to be just anxiety and sciatica.
