Annie, are you seeing a therapist or taking any medications to help you deal with it? I got so fed up with feeling that way EVERY day, that I went back to my doc and asked to be put back on Zoloft, even though I am taking xanax also. I just didn't want to take any more xanax then I absolutely had too, and my symptoms were just getting worse. Do you mind if I ask how old you are, and also is it right before your "friend" is due to come? It is very discouraging when you get all these physical symptoms, and find that nothing is actually wrong, well except for the anxiety/panic monster. Try to do some deep breathing to calm yourself down. I know it's hard, but try it anyway. Just sit in a quiet place and try to relax your shoulder muscles by letting them drop, cause they tend to tense up, close your eyes, and take a deep breath in through your nose to the count of 3, hold it for 3, and then breath out through your mouth to the count of 4. This always seems to help me. I usually sit "indian style" and try to keep my back nice and tall. Just keep telling yourself that it is just anxiety, it is nothing serious, and it will go away. I hope this helps you a bit! Fox
