Hi Matt,
:( I am sorry that you are going through all of this, but I am glad to see that you realize that it is anxiety bothering you, and not some new disease...that is a step in the right direction.
Stomach pain/nausea is the number one symptom of stress for many people. In fact, in children, stress almost always manifests itself with stomach complaints. It is a very common and basic symptom-our digestive system is very susceptible to anxiety.
If you think about it, you having a stomach ache before a daunting exam is pretty classic anxiety/stress characteristic!
I used to get really wiped out (sometimes still do) after a particularly hard day with symptoms. This should improve as you continue with your therapy, and work on things:)
I hope that you can reschedule and get into your p-doc's soon, and that you have a better day tomorrow. (and that you aced your test!)
Take care,
S.C.
